SPRING brings fresh veggies and COLOR! We have Spring Greens - lettuce, spinach, arugula, mustards- asparagus and more! Fill your plate with delicious and nutritional greens! Our freshly picked Basehore Farm Spring Vegetables cleanse your body, mind and soul.

Colorful Hanging Baskets and Container/bedding plants brighten your outdoor living spaces. New 2024 Colors are Fun and Happy! Spring is OUTSIDE time… Create your own vibrant, welcoming area with our baskets.

SUMMER

SUMMER is when vegetables, fruits and cut flowers start filling our farm market. Our field grown tomatoes and sweet corn are crowd favorites. We work with other local central PA growers for fruit and berry items. Summer season also brings the classic farm job - making hay. We bale hay during the heat of summer to sell during the winter months.

We water and tend the plants as needed, paying strict attention to the growing fall crops - Mums and Pumpkins.

FALL

Farmer Tom, planting a cash crop field of pumpkins years ago, paved the way for Basehore Farm Market today. Lots of area homes and local businesses decorate their front porches and entrance ways with our colorful pumpkins, homegrown mums, and hefty cornstalks.

Crisp cool mornings, followed by warm afternoons, make fall a unique season. The large creekside oaks and sycamores change colors weekly as do varieties of Mums, Pumpkins and other fall decorations. Stop in often during this season to update your outdoor area. We look forward to new fall offerings in 2024 —Stay tuned!

WINTER HOLIDAYS

BASEHORE FARM MARKET celebrates the winter holidays by offering freshly cut local CHRISTMAS trees, area made wreaths and roping, and more. Unique Gift Boxes filled with local edibles are a “Must Give” present.  Jams and Jellies, Baked Goods, and our Basehore Farm Gift Cards are always great gifts for family, friends and teachers/coaches. We go above and beyond for our Christmas Tree customers. In addition to offering top quality trees We: 1. assist with selection, 2: Shake, drill and wrap the tree, 3: Tie on or help get in your car, and 5: Sincerely wish all A Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday as we move into a New Year!
